About Me
Hi my name is J Vicenty.
. My art depicts my life, my culture, the world of music and people I have encountered. At times, I use current events to bring to light the event(s) in order to help people see it in a more comprehensive and colorful way. My art is a bit eclectic and i enjoy creating colorful, vibrant, and happy art which provide my portraits with a voice of their own.
I created my first portrait in 2019, it was first exhibited in mid 2021. As a self taught artist with culinary training I tap into both of these disciplines to help me create art everyday.
I am currently, working on a project called “Recognition” in which I am using my art to pay tribute to who I was, who I am or where I see myself in the future.
